The doctor never seems rushed to get to his next appointment and will discuss or explain my issues in detail to help me better understand what his diagnosis/opinions are, how he came to that position. “10 Stars. Phenomenal care that ultimately has saved us time and money. Although my story is unique, I will share how Dr. Baker has helped me, my husband and our 2 teenage children in a variety of ways. First, finding a primary care physician proved very difficult when I returned to Liberty Lake last year from a trip to Mexico that resulted in a ruptured appendix, emergency removal and 8 days spent in a small hospital in Cabo. Upon my return, follow up check in appointments were needed and despite being fully insured, I could not find primary care openings for 6+ months. Dr. Baker was able to see me within 1 day of contacting his office. I had called over 2 dozen doctors in the Spokane and North Idaho area and 4 surgeons per the recommendation from the surgeon in Mexico to be diligent in my follow up and no one could expedite seeing me. Dr. Baker thoroughly examined me, did an extensive blood panel review for a co-pay through his program of under $20 - this same blood draw had previously cost me over $500 when I went through my insurance and he was able to refer me to a surgeon and I was seen within a week for a consultation with both a nurse and a doctor. Shortly after I had enrolled to Baker Direct Primary Care, my husband did as well as he had sat next to me and witnessed his thoroughness and attentiveness. In the last 9 months he too has experienced the convenience of same day or next day appointments, blood draws at a nominal fee, referrals to experts with expedited appointments and consistent review and interpretation of what the expert opinion and recommendation is. Although our 2 teens were only going to the doctor for an annual check up and emergency needs, we decided to enroll them as well and it has been extremely convenient to have Dr. Baker see them for sports physicals, sports injuries and physical therapy referrals, acne prescriptions and general medical concerns. Dr. Baker is the most convenient, caring, thorough primary care provider we have experienced as a family living in multiple states and parts of the country. It reminds me of the family primary care physician I grew up seeing with my 4 siblings and my parents.”
